Munchkins: Ages 1-2

MunchkinsOur Munchkins program caters to the physical and spiritual needs of Citipointe's smallest. Kids aged one to two will find that every Sunday, in the purpose-built Munchkins room, is a time full of praise, play and the presence of God. Our welcoming, trained team is looking forward to seeing your little one there.

Munchkins: Ages 1 – 2 in the 8:30am and 10:30am Services

One’s and two’s are such a beautiful developmental age. The children love exploring their social side and are highly receptive to learning experiences. It is a pleasure watching them engage in the things of God and start expressing their love for Him in their own way.

What To Expect In the Program

During the term

  • We have lots of Free Play Time
  • We have Jesus Time which includes interactive songs, praise and worship and a bible story/object lesson
  • We encourage every child to come and put a coin into the Jesus Money container. This teaches the children from a young age to be generous.) You are more than welcome to bring some Jesus money along with your child and they will put it in the Jesus Money bowl at tithes and offering times.
  • Prayer Time
  • VeggiesTales movie
  • In the 10:30am service we provide a small snack for Morning Tea. This consists of apple juice and some plain rice crackers. If your child has Allergies or you would prefer your child not to have any of the above please just let us know

During School Holidays

  • Holiday Programs run during the School breaks. A flyer will be sent out with details a few weeks before program will commence.

Take Home Sheets

Take Home Sheets are sent home each week with a brief description of what your child learnt in their program. The Take Home Sheets include discussion questions for you to go over at home together to strengthen the foundations they’ve learnt. What’s coming up in the next week is also featured on the Take Home Sheets.

Updating Your Child's Details

If your details change or your child has developed allergies since joining Citikidz please inform the leaders at New Commers Registration Desk so we can keep our records current and up to date.
